Christina Birch, The Community Cafe
Christina Birch, founder of The Community Cafe, is a community and business builder at heart. Her passion for supporting rural communities has been evident throughout her 15+ years of experience in community economic development, earning her recognition and well-deserved awards in the field. Christina holds a Master of Arts degree with a focus on rural development. She has certifications in Destination Creation, Business Retention & Expansion, and Strategic Doing. She is the recipient of the 2024 Professional of the Year from Saskatchewan Economic Developers Alliance (SEDA).
Verna O'Neill, VLO Business Solutions
Verna is the founder of VLO Business Solutions, a company focused on assisting entrepreneurs reach their growth goals of becoming more creative, strategic and profitable. Over the past 30 years, Verna has helped thousands of entrepreneurs as they developed their businesses. From start-up assistance and marketing strategies to goal setting and financial analysis, Verna has a great wealth of diverse knowledge, skills and networks to assist entrepreneurs. Verna has a Bachelor of Commerce (finance) degree and a Certificate in Adult Continuing Education. She is also a certified Destination Creation facilitator.
